I think for my first blog I want to show everyone the pictures I took while I was at my latest retreat, the Red Vajrasattva drubchen at Rigdzin Ling in Northern California. This photo is of the mandala. On it are placed various offerings. What you mainly see in front are many tormas, the base of which is made from dough, and the designs are made from wax, butter, and food coloring. The mandala represents the deity, and each side has specific offerings corresponding to the direction it faces.
