In Tibetan Buddhist temples, there are always a lot of paintings on the walls and ceilings. This one is of the Buddha with Shariputra and Mogdalyana, who are the two foremost disciples of the Buddha.

The Great Dharma King Trisong Deutson. He was an emanation of Manjushri which is why you see the implements of flaming sword and text in the lotuses.
on the other side should be the Glorious Abbot Shantarakshita holding a Dharma wheel.
